Worl Cosplay Summit is the annual meeting of cosplayers. The first edition took place in 2003, the Japanese Nagoya.
Nagoya hopes to become the main cosplay center in Japan, and this event promotes international cosplay exchange - cosplayers from around the world take part in it.
WCS begins at the end of July and ends at the beginning of August. In 2015, about 250,000 people participated in it. The number of cosplay teams increased. As a result, you can meet representatives of over 30 different nationalities at the rally. From the whole program, the most popular are the "cosplay championships". The costumes and performance of the participants are assessed.
